COWBOY ACADEMY EVENT

A program designed for the COWBOY in all of us!

Enjoy learning the ropes from cowboys and cowgirls who have been around ranching all of their lives. You can participate as much or as little as you want. Feel free to use one of our horses or bring your own. All levels of horse and rider are welcome to attend. 

From gathering cattle to cutting in the round pen, trail riding to barrel racing... we have something for every rider.

Dates:
October 10-14, 2018

Times:
VARIAN TIME… If you don’t already know it you will find out!  Usually we eat breakfast at 8:00am and the day unfolds from there.

Ages: 8 years and up

Size: maximum group size 40

Cost: $775 per person. $995, if you are riding a V6 Ranch Horse. $375 deposit required.

Fee Includes:
Clinics on Sorting & Team Penning, Ranch & Team Roping, Cutting & Reining, Barrel Racing & Pole Bending. Also included, are your meals from Thursday Dinner to Sunday Lunch, Cattle Drives, Trail Rides, Entertainment and Wonderful Conversation.

Accommodations
You can bring your living quarters, stay at the Lodge or the Bunkhouse, pitch a tent or sleep out under the stars. We have plenty of water hookups, bathrooms and showers for the campers.

Horse Facilities
The V6 Ranch will be offering 45 - 10' x 15' portable pipe corrals for horses. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to reserve one. Participants can also bring their own portable corrals, or horses can be trailer tied or high lined between trees. Hay will be available for purchase but it is recommended that you bring your own.

Weather
Fall is beautiful in Parkfield and the weather is generally in the 80's. Bring layers as the evenings and mornings can be cool.
