Bruce Sandifer & Jeff Derby California Vaquero Workshop

October 21-23, 2024

One must, very special place with a lot of history. This year it is right before the Early Californios Skills of the Rancho so you can practice before going to the show.

Don’t miss this opportunity to spend four fun filled days riding with bridle horseman Bruce Sandifer at the V6 Ranch.

Activities include:

• Gathering cattle on the ranch

• Greater knowledge of California Vaquero Horsemanship

• Develop your skills in the Hackamore, 2-Rein, or Spade Bit

• California Vaquero Stockmanship

Individuals who are new to the California Vaquero style of riding are welcome, however you should be able to comfortably ride out in a group with minimal assistance. 

Accommodation:
V6 Bunkhouse rooms are available as well as Wrangler Row Glamping Tents. Meals will be served Monday dinner through Wednesday lunch. Water, horse stalls and camping are available. Participants are responsible for their fee/hay.

V6 Ranch horses are available for lease.
